stillpoint is a two-hour live ritual: guided breathwork, live sound, and long, protected stillness in a dark room.
Boston is confirmed for October 25 at Yoga Union. Tickets open August 25.
Sound
Live gongs, crystal alchemy bowls, and handpan — loud enough to feel in your chest, never painful. Earplugs are available at the door.
The floor
You spend most of the evening lying down in a nest of mat, bolster, and blanket. Chairs are available.
Duration
Two hours, doors twenty minutes prior.
Temperature
Kept warm, around 74°F. Bodies cool quickly during long stillness, so bring a layer.
Emotion
Tears, laughter, shaking, and deep sleep all happen in these rooms. All of it is welcome and none of it is required.
Co-founders
Christine and Ben are the co-founders of stillpoint. Christine guides sound, breath, and embodied awareness; Ben brings two decades of bodywork and vibrational practice. Together they hold the room — not as performers, but as guides in a shared return to stillness.
Wear
Soft, warm layers you can lie down in for two hours. No belts or stiff waistbands. PJs welcome.
Eat
Light food two to three hours before. A full stomach makes active breathwork uncomfortable.
Arrive
Doors open twenty minutes before start. Arriving early gives you the pick of the room.
Late policy
Once the first portal begins the door closes to protect the room. Please arrive before start time.
Phones
Silenced and away for the full session. There is a basket at the door.
